By accessing or using Consensus Check (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Consensus Check is a web-based service accessible to users in multiple jurisdictions. While our primary legal jurisdiction is the State of Oregon, United States, users are responsible for ensuring their use of the Service complies with local laws in their respective locations.

Consensus Check offers:
- Basic Plan: Standard features
- Supporter Plan: Enhanced features with flexible payment
6.2 Billing
- Billing is annual
- Payments are processed through Stripe
- Supporter Plan allows users to pay what they can, including zero
6.3 Refund Policy
- Refunds are generally not provided
- Exceptional circumstances may warrant refund consideration
- Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
- In compliance with Oregon consumer protection laws, we will consider good-faith refund requests
7. Intellectual Property
- All original content, design, and functionality of Consensus Check are owned by the Service
- Users retain ownership of their submitted content
- We may showcase user content as examples of platform usage
8. Limitation of Liability

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. However, users in other jurisdictions remain subject to their local applicable laws.
10.2 Dispute Resolution
- For users in the United States: Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation
- If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Marion County, Oregon, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association
- International users may be subject to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms consistent with their local laws
11. Modifications

- We may modify these Terms at any time
- Changes will be effective immediately upon posting
- Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of new Terms
